This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Provide daily legal guidance to Lumexa Imaging along with its operations and associated business functions.
• Collaborate independently and with colleagues from the Legal Department to achieve our departmental goals, including fulfilling our service level commitments to the organization.
• Actively engage and positively support the enhancement and promotion of the culture within the Legal Department and Lumexa Imaging.
• Review, draft, and negotiate essential agreements related to the Company’s operating model, deliver corporate and operational counsel, manage risk and litigation issues, and facilitate the realization of Lumexa’s strategic goals.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys, the broader corporate team, and operational leaders to pinpoint legal risks and formulate practical recommendations.
• Create practical guidance, standardized policies, and training on legal matters impacting the business.
• Supervise and assist in the development of junior attorneys and legal staff as needed.
• Effectively and efficiently manage outside counsel.
• Three to five years of experience as a licensed attorney, preferably with experience advising one or more multistate healthcare organizations, either as external or internal legal counsel.
• Strong background working with healthcare facilities, provider organizations, physician practices, or other multi-site healthcare platforms.
• Previous law firm or in-house experience is preferred.
• Experience in a growth-focused, private equity-backed, and/or public company environment is preferred.
• Practical, business-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
• Effective communicator with sound judgment and discretion.
• Strong skills in prioritization and project management.
