This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Review, negotiate, and finalize level-one legal tasks, which include business associate agreements (BAAs), NDAs, vendor contracts, and other standard commercial instruments.
β’ Oversee and manage the legal operations ecosystem, incorporating intake tools (such as Ironclad, Fresh service, or similar), workflow automation, and document management systems.
β’ Create and sustain a KPI and SLA dashboard that provides the General Counsel with real-time insights into the legal team's throughput, cycle times, and ongoing matters.
β’ Develop and enhance the legal request intake process, ensuring clear routing, prioritization, and accountability for service level agreements across the organization.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for conflict checks and matter management with external counsel, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
β’ Responsible for consolidating various information sources into chosen records management systems to guarantee that documents are organized, version-controlled, and ready for audits.
β’ Collaborate across functions with Finance, Sales (GTM), and the Salesforce administrator to facilitate contracting workflows and commercial deal cycles.
β’ Act as an internal advocate for AI adoption within the Legal department β identifying opportunities to utilize AI tools for contract review, research, drafting, and operations, while supporting implementation alongside the broader Interra AI initiative.
β’ Assist the General Counsel with ad hoc legal matters, research, and projects as the team and company grow.
β’ Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active bar membership is required.
β’ Over 5 years of legal experience, ideally in healthcare, health tech, or another highly regulated sector.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong project development and management skills focused on efficiency.
β’ Proven experience collaborating with GTM teams is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, BAAs, and data use/data privacy requirements.
β’ Experience with or a strong interest in legal operations tools β including intake systems, matter management, workflow automation, and reporting.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage work from start to finish: you can take a task from intake to completion without needing reminders.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly and concisely translating legal complexities for non-legal stakeholders.
β’ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean environment where processes are still being developed.
