Corporate Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and negotiate various agreements, including commercial transactions, service agreements, data processing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.

• Support the management and upkeep of the company's standard contract templates and playbooks.

• Ensure adherence to security and privacy regulations as well as corporate governance standards.

• Actively address the changing landscape of regulatory compliance.

• Provide guidance and leadership for all legal requirements of the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience (either in-house or with a law firm), including more than 3 years of relevant experience in SaaS commercial law.

• Demonstrated success in collaborating effectively across various business units and internal departments.

• Experience in negotiating B2B SaaS agreements, particularly concerning software security and compliance.

• Background in a startup environment is highly advantageous.

• Previous experience in establishing and leading in-house legal teams.

• Proficient in G-Suite, DocuSign, and Slack.

• Familiarity with scalable contract database solutions and finance invoicing systems.
