Corporate Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Supervise journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting tasks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP.

• Spearhead technical accounting issues and act as the main liaison for audit coordination.

• Collaborate across Finance, Operations, and executive leadership on strategic initiatives.

• Lead initiatives for acquisition integration and alignment of accounting processes.

• Drive enhancements, automation, and scalability within the accounting department.

• Oversee internal controls and compliance efforts, including risk assessment and remediation.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects in partnership with FP&A and executive leadership.

• Guide and develop accounting team members, offering mentorship and opportunities for professional advancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with previous experience in people management.

• CPA certification is essential.

• Previous experience in Big 4 public accounting is highly preferred.

• A blend of public accounting and corporate industry experience is desirable.

• Experience in IT services, technology, SaaS, consulting, or managed services sectors is regarded as a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with NetSuite is a bonus.

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

• Documented success in leading teams and achieving results in a dynamic, high-growth setting.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
