📋 Description

• Oversee the corporate communications strategy encompassing media relations, enhancing executive visibility, announcing research initiatives, and positioning within the industry.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with journalists and media outlets, actively proposing stories that amplify Surge’s perspective in AI.

• Create impactful communication materials—such as press releases, blog entries, briefing documents, and executive statements—that render technical information accessible and newsworthy.

• Initiate and oversee multi-channel campaigns that bolster Surge’s reputation as a leading authority in AI.

• Advise leadership on communication opportunities, potential risks, and messaging to guarantee clarity and consistency across all external interactions.

• Demonstrated experience in corporate communications within technology, AI, or rapidly growing industries, with a proven history of media engagement and reputation management.

• Outstanding writing and storytelling skills, capable of converting intricate technical or research-related content into clear and engaging narratives.

• Proficient in media relations, issues management, and executive communications, possessing strong connections (or the aptitude to cultivate them) within press and industry networks.

• Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and adept at functioning in a dynamic, founder-led environment.
