This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Operate systems independently to manage the processing of invoices through the workflow.
• Oversee assigned stores and queues effectively.
• Ensure accuracy by verifying, entering, and amending invoice attributes within the workflow.
• Reconcile vendor statements while nurturing vendor relationships to guarantee precise invoice processing, timely expense allocation, and vendor payments.
• Address payment allocation discrepancies and account disputes to sustain ongoing purchasing capabilities.
• Engage with vendors concerning outstanding credit balances.
• Generate and post journal entries to facilitate accurate expense allocation, encompassing consolidated bills, prepaids, accruals, and invoice inconsistencies.
• Handle urgent and manual payment requests for management companies.
• Assess, research, and secure approvals for month-end schedules and balances.
• Actively communicate errors, unusual matters, solutions, opportunities for process improvement, and workload issues to leadership.
• Support departmental projects and offer additional assistance as required.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable is preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail along with exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong critical thinking, active listening, and time management skills.
• A customer-service oriented mindset with a collaborative, team-focused approach.
• Capability to adapt to shifting priorities, deadlines, and business requirements with a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and conduct oneself professionally in a positive team setting.
