This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and manage the partnership with Karyopharm, engaging with multiple key contacts across all accounts.
• Identify opportunities to promote Karyopharm products across various market segments, both directly and indirectly.
• Plan, initiate, negotiate, and oversee profitable business relationships and contracts with designated accounts.
• Create and implement account-specific business plans while providing ongoing updates to the Market Access team and other internal stakeholders.
• Optimize internal resources, both financial and human, to achieve planned objectives with each customer.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Market Access colleagues and various functional areas in formulating strategic and tactical plans.
• Contribute to the planning of overall brand and corporate strategies continuously and as part of different sub-teams and committees as required.
• Be recognized as the subject matter expert on assigned accounts, market segments, and issues affecting our partnerships and operational capacity.
• Manage administrative and fiduciary responsibilities relevant to the CAD role.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A decade of relevant experience in the Biotech/pharmaceutical or Oncology sectors.
• At least three years of Account Management experience within the Biotech/pharmaceutical or Oncology fields.
• A thorough understanding of key organizations and decision makers in the Oncology space.
• Experience engaging with multiple Oncology market segments (e.g., GPO, SD, SP, Oncology-focused institutions, and other relevant partner organizations).
• Detailed knowledge of the contracting process, including terminology, language, and expectations.
• Proven track record in developing strategic and tactical plans at the account level, successfully achieving measurable metrics.
• Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Experience and success in generating and negotiating agreements within the Oncology sector.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 60 percent of the time, including regional and national travel.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on influence, impact, and leading without formal authority.
• Proven skills in working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and executing business plans.
• Preferred experience in Oncology sales leadership.
• Highly preferred experience in launching new products or start-ups.
• Experience with oral Oncology products is strongly preferred.
