CoreMedia CMS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide clients with expert advice on technical solutions and strategies.

• Support developers and/or manage project coordination for smaller development initiatives.

• Architect and plan implementation strategies.

• Create contemporary, dynamic web applications, such as those based on CoreMedia CMS or Magnolia CMS, as well as web applications that utilize AI technologies.

• Develop backend functionalities using Java and Spring framework.

• Build front-end interfaces with React and Next.js.

• Connect backend services through REST / GraphQL.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality assurance.

• Implement agile methodologies and processes.

• Offer mentorship and facilitate knowledge sharing with team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to provide professional and fair client advice to achieve successful project outcomes.

• Strong, transparent, and respectful communication skills.

• Keen interest in leadership and managing teams.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in coordinating development projects in roles such as Tech Lead or Architect.

• At least 5 years' experience in full-stack development, particularly in Java and Spring.

• Extensive understanding of modern web technologies, including TypeScript and React.

• Proficiency in a Java-based content management system, preferably CoreMedia or Magnolia.

• Optional: experience in web application development using Java.

• Background in integrating artificial intelligence in consulting, development, and customer solutions.

• Strong experience in applying best practices for code quality, testing, and performance optimization in an agile environment.

• In-depth knowledge of software architectures.

• Basic understanding of infrastructure technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services, CI/CD).
