This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide exceptional network and systems support within a Managed Services Center.
• Deliver comprehensive systems support throughout the lifecycle for clients, which includes design, implementation, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of intricate issues.
• Take ownership of issues from start to finish until a successful resolution is obtained.
• Maintain advanced and current technical expertise in networking technologies.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Accurately record all incidents, troubleshooting processes, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and accountability in all responsibilities.
• Collaborate efficiently within a team while also being capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Lead and oversee assigned technical projects.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively while prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a customer-centric and results-oriented mindset at all times.
• Troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve both common and highly complex network/systems issues, either independently or as a team member.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Active Cisco CCNP Service Provider certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a service provider network role, with extensive knowledge of optics.
• Strong expertise with Juniper platforms in service provider settings.
• Hands-on experience with NCS (Cisco, Juniper, and similar) platforms.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues successfully.
• Strong working knowledge of VRF technology.
• Comprehensive understanding of routing protocols: IS-IS, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, cloud networking, and network security principles.
• Experience with Cisco ASR routers.
• Background in using IT service management tools (ServiceNow preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
