Copywriter – Part-time Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Craft clear and compelling copy for social media, email marketing, and web content.

• Generate copy for Google Ads, PMax, YouTube Ads, and various other paid media platforms.

• Create SEO, AEO, and GEO-targeted content to enhance visibility and relevance.

• Edit and proofread marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.

• Work in partnership with the Senior Copywriter and cross-functional teams on unified campaigns.

• Conduct research or interview experts to develop insightful content.

• Keep abreast of digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging tools.

• Produce customer-centric content that aligns with customers' needs, desires, and lifestyles.

• Participate in brainstorming and creative ideation sessions.

• Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Suggest and test copy to refine messaging and enhance results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in digital copywriting, ideally in retail, healthcare, or a similar sector.

• A portfolio that demonstrates a variety of digital copy, including SEO-optimized content, paid media, and social media campaigns.

• Experience in the optical industry is advantageous.

• Ability to adapt to AI tools for optimizing workflow.

• Strong understanding of digital copywriting best practices, including SEO, AEO, and GEO targeting.

• Excellent proofreading and editing abilities with a sharp eye for detail.

• Proficiency in writing for Google Ads, YouTube Ads, and other paid media platforms.

• Capability to adapt to established brand voice and tone across diverse campaigns.

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and project management tools like Asana is a bonus.
