Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop engaging and entertaining content for relevant Reddit communities as well as Jerry’s own subreddits.

• Write both long-form and short-form copy while maintaining an authentic, native Reddit tone, structure, and formatting.

• Respond to community comments and inquiries with timely, contextual replies.

• Experiment with narrative hooks, post formats, TL;DRs, bulleted lists, case studies, and optimal posting times.

• Produce SEO- and LLM-optimized Reddit content that ranks well on Google and serves as valuable AI reference material.

• Collaborate with the Content, SEO, and Product teams to transform company insights into Reddit-focused copy.

• Simplify complex topics in finance and automotive sectors into engaging, easily understandable text posts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Reddit user with a comprehensive portfolio of Reddit writing.

• Familiarity with Reddit post formatting and the subtleties of its subcultures.

• Over 3 years of copywriting experience.

• Demonstrated ability in writing both short-form and long-form content.

• Ideally experienced in fintech, insurtech, automotive, or consumer technology.

• Capability to convey complex insurance, financial, and automotive subjects in a clear and engaging manner.

• Skill in creating educational, high-value content instead of overtly promotional material.

• Ability to handle constructive feedback from internal teams and public comments.

• Must be able to work from the U.S. or Canada.

• Current residency in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada is required for full-time salaried positions.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.

• Willingness to write a Reddit comment of up to 150 words as part of the application process.
