This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, schedule, publish, and oversee social media content to enhance awareness, engagement, and visibility of the Step Further initiative.
• Craft engaging narratives that highlight the influence of scholarship opportunities on students, families, partners, stakeholders, and communities.
• Produce social media posts, videos, graphics, photography, testimonials, and other multimedia materials.
• Strategically plan, maintain, and implement a content calendar that aligns with organizational goals, campaigns, events, and initiatives.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all digital platforms and communication channels.
• Capture, edit, and create photography, video, and multimedia content.
• Attend events, conferences, meetings, speaking engagements, and community activities throughout Florida to gather content and document the organization’s impact.
• Support paid social media campaigns and digital marketing efforts.
• Monitor social media and digital performance metrics, assess campaign effectiveness, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Investigate and implement emerging digital trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues, partners, stakeholders, and external audiences to achieve communication objectives.
• Proven success and established experience in relevant professional or life experiences; military service may substitute for formal education.
• 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing or communications.
• Proficiency in WordPress is mandatory.
• Experience in creating basic graphic design assets is essential.
• Familiarity with capturing and editing photography and video content.
• Occasional travel is necessary.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite Analytics, Sprout Social, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Capability to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds.
• A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance may be necessary, depending on role responsibilities.
