This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and safeguard WMG's intellectual property, including audio, physical goods, merchandise, and digital assets.
• Detect unauthorized usage of WMG content across streaming platforms, social networks, and the web.
• Execute notice and takedown procedures in accordance with US Copyright laws and other legal frameworks.
• Collaborate with labels, global affiliates, and corporate units on priority releases and content protection protocols.
• Create technical monitoring tools, scripts, and detection systems.
• Work with internal teams to integrate vendor APIs and automate the detection of unauthorized content.
• Monitor AI-generated deepfakes and voice clones that misuse artists' names, images, likenesses, or vocal identities.
• Utilize detection tools to flag synthetic media for legal and policy assessment.
• Establish data collection standards in conjunction with the Global Content Security group and internal partners.
• Integrate reporting into shared dashboards.
• Track metrics related to infringement, takedown results, fraud incidents, and emerging threat trends.
• Manage and prioritize various projects effectively.
• Provide consistent coverage for the global content protection inbox.
• Ability to manage and prioritize several projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in internet research and discovery tools.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of maintaining focus on tasks.
• Skill in navigating music platforms, mobile app stores, and online marketplaces.
• Capacity to think independently and work efficiently without supervision.
• Availability to provide global inbox coverage during a flexible/non-traditional workweek as needed.
• Previous experience with database management and Google Analytics is preferred.
• Familiarity with HTML, SQL, Python, and/or Java.
• Understanding of generative artificial intelligence tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Comfort with Google Enterprise products: Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Forms.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office Services: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience or demonstrated interest in the music industry or related fields such as Film, TV, or Digital Media.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding presentation abilities.
• Willingness to engage with senior team members globally.
• Fluency in English and a second language, preferably Spanish or Mandarin.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Remote work arrangement.
