This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the safe, efficient, and prompt commissioning, trial operations, and acceptance testing of the GE Mark VIe control system for Combined Cycle Power Plants.
β’ Conduct pre-checks, energize systems, and verify networks among devices and subsystems.
β’ Supervise and carry out loop checks, functional assessments, and protection testing while adhering to strict documentation and operational log protocols.
β’ Manage the transition of systems from installation to commissioning and final handover to the customer.
β’ Diagnose complex hardware and software problems.
β’ Evaluate control logic in comparison to engineering design documentation.
β’ Apply modifications to HMI screens and configure alarms.
β’ Enforce EHS protocols, which include conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and monitoring subcontractor compliance.
β’ Ensure that commissioning efforts comply with site safety standards and relevant regulations.
β’ Provide technical insights and comprehensive site reports to engineering and project teams.
β’ Oversee the inventory of commissioning test equipment, ensuring proper inspection, tracking of usage, and timely returns.
β’ Participate in lessons-learned initiatives and ongoing improvement projects.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
β’ Willingness and capability to travel for extended field assignments (up to 100%) throughout the United States and internationally.
β’ A strong intellectual curiosity paired with a genuine enthusiasm for energy, technology, and innovation.
β’ Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
β’ Comfort with uncertainty and the ability to adapt in dynamic, high-pressure field situations.

β’ Legally authorized to work in the United States.
