Controls Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create control sequences from the ground up in accordance with project designs and operational specifications.

• Design graphics and user interfaces on the designated control platform, ensuring they are user-friendly and comprehensible.

• Prepare the platform for field technicians to initiate startup, confirming that all programming and graphics are operational and accessible.

• Provide remote support during commissioning activities as required, assisting field technicians in validating system functionality and troubleshooting issues during the startup phase.

• Work collaboratively with project managers and field technicians to guarantee that all programming requirements are fulfilled.

• Maintain thorough documentation and update records for all completed programming and graphic tasks.

• Conduct remote troubleshooting and provide support as needed for field-related issues after installation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC controls programming, design, or engineering is required.

• Technical Skills: Expertise in control systems programming and a solid understanding of HVAC systems and controls.

• Certification: Must hold Tridium Niagara N4 certification.

• Software Skills: Experience with programming and creating graphics on control platforms; proficiency in Visio/AutoCAD is preferred.
