Controllership Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee Zippi's daily financial operations, including accounts payable, treasury, investments, reimbursements, and management close, ensuring excellence and zero errors, serving as the go-to reference for payments, reimbursements, and purchasing from day one.

• Elevate routine tasks: create your own SQL queries, implement AI-supported automations, and transition manual spreadsheet controls to data-driven controls, allowing Controllership to concentrate on analysis and projects.

• Execute accounts payable, reimbursements, and purchases with operational excellence;

• Serve as the primary liaison with banks, mastering treasury functions, investments, and bank reconciliation;

• Take charge of the management close and other Controllership responsibilities;

• Develop your own SQL queries for recurring controls within the designated scope, directly in Metabase/HEX, without relying on third-party extractions;

• Recognize and create automation and AI opportunities within your routine, achieving quantifiable time savings;

• Collaborate effectively with Accounting, Tax, FinOps, and FP&A, ensuring a positive experience for all internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• SQL: you have practical experience using SQL in your daily tasks or personal projects (joins, aggregations) to extract, cross-reference, and reconcile data, and know how to address discrepancies in numbers;

• AI as a tool: you utilize AI daily with a specific objective, breaking down tasks rather than seeking ready-made answers, validating outputs, and understanding when human review is essential;

• Data management: experience in reconciling and matching data across various sources (bank statements, ERP, databases), critical number evaluation, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency;

• Familiarity with bank management, financial investments, and cash flow;

• High energy, accountability, organizational skills, and a strict adherence to daily deadlines.

• Differentiators:

• Proficiency in Python for automation and analysis;

• Experience with ERP (MXM) and banking APIs;

• Knowledge of automation and workflow tools (n8n, Zapier, Pipefy, Power Automate);

• Developed something with AI beyond chat: an agent, automation, routine with MCP, or an AI-assisted script;

• Prior experience with the automation of financial processes;

• Background in fintech or a regulated environment.
