Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development of forecasts, reports, and presentations, along with ad hoc analyses and evaluations that include commentary for the Executive Board and Supervisory Board.

• Creation of KPIs and quarterly extrapolations.

• Medium-term planning for group companies both domestically and internationally, as well as the preparation of the 3-year plan.

• Compilation of the cash flow statement and financial ratios for the stock corporation as part of the annual financial statements (HGB).

• Active involvement in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB/IFRS.

• Establishment and ongoing enhancement of controlling, KPI systems, and financial reporting under HGB/IFRS.

• Primary point of contact for external inquiries from auditors both locally and internationally, ensuring close collaboration with internal departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance/Controlling or a similar commercial qualification, complemented by further training as a certified accounting specialist (Bilanzbuchhalter).

• Multiple years of professional experience in financial controlling, ideally within internationally operating companies.

• Organized working approach with a high level of personal accountability.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Preferably, familiarity with DATEV or similar accounting software.

• Passion for managing projects and optimizing processes.

• Strong written and spoken English skills.
