This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and enhance the performance of accounting personnel, including remote team members.

• Supervise workflow allocation, performance metrics, and process accountability.

• Guarantee the prompt and precise execution of all accounting functions.

• Ensure the integrity of the General Ledger (GL) and oversee the month-end closing procedures.

• Direct Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.

• Manage billing processes within a services-oriented revenue framework.

• Ensure proper revenue recognition, especially in project-based or time & materials contexts.

• Collaborate with operations and project teams to uphold financial accuracy.

• Maintain documentation that is ready for audits and assist with external financial audits.

• Identify areas of inefficiency and drive process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting.

• Practical experience with ERP Systems (preferably Deltek, SAP, or Unanet).

• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

• Strong grasp of services-based accounting frameworks.

• Proven track record of managing offshore accounting teams.

• Extensive knowledge of GL, AP, AR, billing, and revenue recognition practices.

• Experience in facilitating financial audits.

• A strong inclination towards process improvement.

• Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
