This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all daily accounting functions, encompassing general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll management, and month-end closing activities.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Supervise cash management, banking partnerships, and treasury operations.
• Manage tax compliance in collaboration with external tax consultants.
• Create KPI dashboards and management reports.
• Assist in long-term financial planning, scenario analysis, and cash flow projections.
• Assess business opportunities, capital expenditures, and operational strategies through financial analysis.
• Lead and guide the accounting team.
• Enhance financial processes, reporting methods, and system efficiencies.
• Collaborate with various departments to boost financial transparency and decision-making.
• Support ERP enhancements and finance technology initiatives.
• Work alongside executive leadership and FP&A teams to formulate budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and sustain financial models.
• Evaluate financial performance and offer actionable insights.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including roles as a Controller or in senior accounting leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and internal control systems.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities.
• Ability to convey financial data into relevant business insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in enhancing financial processes and applying best practices.
• Valid U.S. work authorization is essential.
• Preferred: familiarity with NetSuite, Bill.com, Salesforce, and Avalara.
• Preferred: experience in developing financial dashboards and KPI reports.
• Preferred: knowledge of utilizing AI for workflow and process automation.
