This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance internal controls that ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and readiness for audits.

• Supervise the general ledger and monthly closing activities, guaranteeing timely, precise, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.

• Oversee tax compliance for federal, state, and local regulations in collaboration with external advisors.

• Direct external audits and continuously improve system controls within NetSuite to enhance operational efficiency.

• Manage cash operations and treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting.

• Lead daily accounting activities in accounts payable/receivable and payroll.

• Collaborate across functions to provide financial analysis, KPI reporting, and actionable insights.

• Mentor and nurture the accounting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required; CPA or CMA is highly preferred.

• A strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls; experience in public accounting and/or auditing is preferred.

• Proficiency in NetSuite and Shopify.

• Required eCommerce experience, with a strong preference for omni-channel exposure in retail and wholesale, with consignment experience being a plus.

• Experience in the fashion, beauty, wellness, and/or consumer lifestyle sectors is preferred.

• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
