Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conducts financial reconciliations

• Closes monthly financial records

• Generates clear monthly financial reports

• Prepares financial statements for the year-end

• May undertake account restructuring tasks

• Ensures the accuracy of the General Ledger

• Reviews and supervises Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Engages in some project management for financial team initiatives

• May handle certain payroll responsibilities

• Responsible for year-end reporting

• May participate in special projects

• Bonus: Can adapt to additional team roles, including CFO or Transactional duties

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum Experience: Manager

• Previous work experience as a Controller or in a comparable role

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations

• Practical experience with general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions

• Background in cash management and risk assessment

• Proficient in accounting software

• Strong attention to detail

• Capability to meet tight deadlines

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA or CMA certification is preferred
