Controller – AI und Prozessinnovation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You plan and manage our liquidity, cash flow, and monthly results – and understand what the numbers signify.

• You assist in budget, forecast, and scenario planning and support the monthly and annual financial closing processes.

• You take on commercial project controlling for implementation and customer projects.

• You establish KPIs that genuinely guide decisions – serving as a sparring partner for executives and management.

• You actively develop and implement finance processes – from conception to execution.

• You drive the use of BI, ERP, and AI tools within the finance sector.

• You also contribute to day-to-day operations – accounting and bookkeeping preparation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in controlling or finance.

• You have not only experienced processes but have also actively shaped and implemented them.

• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI), AI applications, and excellent Excel skills; knowledge of DATEV is a clear advantage.

• Strong affinity for digital tools and automation – you question existing workflows and improve them iteratively.

• Independent, structured working style combined with a communicative, hands-on personality.

• Good understanding of business models in SaaS and project environments, as well as finance processes in growing tech companies.

• You come from a dynamic environment – start-up, scale-up, or tech-driven company – and understand what that entails.

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
