Control Systems Project Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engages in a range of control system projects.

• Oversees specific project-related tasks and/or manages complex large-scale projects in their entirety.

• Offers engineering assistance on projects/tasks led by other team members.

• Receives direction and seeks advice from designated project leaders, supervisors, and company executives.

• Communicates effectively, positively, and proactively with clients.

• Completes assigned responsibilities accurately, on time, and within budget.

• Anticipates potential challenges that may arise during a project and proactively develops solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Generally, 4+ years of overall experience.

• At least 2+ years as a Lead Control Systems Engineer or in a comparable role.

• Fully self-sufficient in the field.

• Lead and assist in the start-up and commissioning of control systems.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.

• Review standard documents produced by others for technical, grammatical, and aesthetic quality.

• Strong understanding of complex control system design.

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Information Technology (IT) systems, network infrastructure, and computer system design.

• Travel required: Overnight travel may be necessary up to 50% of the time.
