Contracts Technician Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assist clients with their needs concerning insurance contract management.

• Analyze and interpret verbiage within insurance contracts.

• Perform file balancing, account and report reviews, as well as peer audits.

• Execute file balancing and manage daily operations of the contract management system.

• Keep track of important update dates related to reimbursement rules.

• Carry out contract build testing to verify precision before going live.

• Conduct audits on completed contract builds as necessary.

• Offer assistance to other areas in the revenue cycle regarding inquiries on calculations and reimbursement.

• Engage in opportunities to share knowledge on contract management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.

• 2-4 years of experience in the healthcare sector related to payer reimbursement.

• Experience in building insurance contracts for hospitals or physicians.

• Background in Managed Care.

• Ability to interpret insurance contract language.

• Familiarity with contract management platforms associated with reimbursement and contracted rates.

• Experience in Revenue Cycle Management.

• Must achieve CRCR certification within 9 months of employment.
