This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create, evaluate, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial and government-related agreements, such as NDAs, purchase orders, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, and subcontracts.
• Oversee the entire legal contract lifecycle management (CLM), encompassing amendments, renewals, change orders, and close-out activities.
• Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, especially in environments interfacing with government (e.g., FAR/DFARS-related frameworks).
• Keep well-organized contract files and assist in configuration management processes for contract-related documentation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to guarantee alignment between contract terms, operational realities, and compliance requirements.
• Aid in the development and ongoing enhancement of contract templates, playbooks, checklists, and workflows.
• Offer guidance to internal teams on contract interpretation, obligations, and risk assessments.
• Support due diligence, regulatory disclosures, and accountability documentation as required.
• Work alongside Finance, Operations, and Program Managers to ensure that contract deliverables, reporting obligations, and milestones are clearly understood and monitored.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience dealing with commercial contracts in a government-facing or government-related environment.
• Background in defense, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or other regulated sectors with substantial government interactions.
• Proven expertise with common contracting frameworks, including knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR/EAR, or similar regulatory structures.
• Exceptional record-keeping abilities, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to manage complex issues with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with comfort in cross-functional collaboration.
• High integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism when managing confidential or sensitive information.
