This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a champion for legal technology and software by proactively identifying, evaluating, and promoting new legal tech and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) enhancements that enhance automation and efficiency throughout the organization.
• Oversee the implementation and continuous management of legal technology and software systems, including the CLM tool.
• Develop and refine contract processes, standardization, cross-functional workflows, guidelines, and playbooks for collaboration with key internal partners (such as Sales, Security, Compliance, Customer Success) and external partners (including Outside Counsel).
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle utilizing our CLM tool, from initiation to renewal, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a precise contract repository.
• Conduct in-depth contract analysis by designing and generating complex reports from the repository, which includes extracting specific contract terms and producing actionable metrics on repository health, workflow efficiency, and CLM utilization.
• Ensure contract compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Work closely with our global sales team to accelerate deal closures.
• Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements, focusing on SaaS and enterprise-level contracts.
• Offer guidance on contract-related issues to internal stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of relevant laws and regulations that impact our contracts.
• Collaborate with Customer Success on amendments and renewals.
• Provide regular updates to leadership regarding contract statuses and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Conduct regular training sessions and maintain open office hours for Sales regarding the use of our CLM.
• Manage legal service providers and oversee projects involving outside counsel.
• Serve as the initial point of review for contract intake and requests, validating content and context to ensure compliance.
• Assist with various non-specific legal projects and ad-hoc assignments.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; paralegal certification or relevant legal education or experience is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in contract management or administration, ideally in a SaaS software or legal technology setting.
• A proven history of supporting a global sales team.
• Proficiency in contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.
• Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage legal projects.
