This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee and coordinate the Request for Proposals process.
• Prepare and evaluate Proposals, including aspects such as pricing, change orders, and modifications.
• Manage the solicitation, awarding, and oversight of Purchase Orders and Subcontracts.
• Develop and oversee Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements.
• Utilize expertise in Other Transaction Authority (OTA) and IDIQ contracts.
• Provide support during Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) reviews and audits.
• Collaborate with complex teams that are geographically dispersed.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating positive outcomes.
• Oversee contract and subcontract reporting systems.
• Conduct research on FAR and recommend compliant strategies.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory; an MBA is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience as a contracting professional, ideally with federal contracts, particularly with the Department of Energy or the Department of Defense.
• Certification as a Professional Contracts Manager is required, with additional training in contract law or similar areas preferred.
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and associated agency supplements.
• Comprehensive understanding of government systems, programs, and the contractual responsibilities involving a government entity, a privately-run organization, and multiple subcontractors.
• US citizenship is required.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
