This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and oversee contracts involving customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners.
• Assist sales and bidding teams by reviewing and negotiating customer terms and conditions.
• Advocate for the implementation of Phoenix's standard terms and conditions whenever applicable.
• Analyze public sector framework agreements and aid teams in maintaining compliance with framework stipulations.
• Negotiate amendments to customer contracts and address non-standard contractual terms.
• Provide support to supplier-facing teams during negotiations of subcontract and reseller agreements.
• Assess and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) alongside confidentiality agreements.
• Serve as a primary contact for contractual and legal inquiries throughout the organization.
• Offer pragmatic and commercially oriented advice on matters related to contracts.
• Aid in the annual review and upkeep of Phoenix’s standard contractual documentation.
• Foster and sustain robust working relationships with customers, suppliers, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s information security policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of contract management processes and controls.
• Solid understanding of UK contract law.
• Familiarity with public sector frameworks and contractual environments.
• Knowledge of relationships involving suppliers, resellers, and subcontractors.
• Awareness of the Procurement Act 2023.
• Understanding of UK GDPR and data protection principles is desirable.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commercial insight.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively across various teams.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance legal risks with practical commercial outcomes.
• Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Contracts, Commercial, or Legal position.
• Background in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience in supporting customer and supplier agreements.
• Experience in technology, managed services, or public sector environments is desirable.
• A legal degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Professional legal qualifications are advantageous but not required.
