This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Responsible for the comprehensive management of the contract process for specific or diverse accounts, which includes coordinating with Operations, Project Management, Legal, Business Development, and Finance to prepare, review, and negotiate contracts.
• Act as the main client liaison during the negotiation stage.
• Maintain continuous communication with clients regarding contractual matters throughout the duration of a project.
• Establish and sustain direct communication with clients.
• Develop, negotiate, and finalize budgets and contractual documents such as Start-up Agreements, Work Orders, and Change Orders.
• Create account-specific standards for contracts, encompassing budget presentation, payment terms, standard contract language, and engage in discussions/negotiations with clients as necessary.
• Engage proactively with project management to review project status, including assessing contractual adherence to ensure compliance with terms and milestones, and identify any changes in contract scope.
• Collaborate closely with Finance on ongoing budget adjustments and provide budget tools that are ready for finance system integration, in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Ensure that information related to contractual documents is accurately processed and maintained in relevant databases.
• Adapt the company's templates to satisfy client template requirements.
• Contribute to the development and testing of tools and procedures.
• A University Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Background in contract management, proposal development, or a related field is essential.
• Must possess knowledge of clinical trials and/or relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with ICH/GCP in the context of clinical trials is preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills are essential.
• Highly organized with exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficient numeracy skills are required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities are necessary.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software, including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Databases.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
