This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Assist in the creation, review, and modification of contracts to ensure precision and adherence to compliance standards.
• Facilitate negotiations by preparing necessary documentation and evaluating proposed terms.
• Maintain centralized systems for monitoring contract status, renewals, and compliance obligations.
• Ensure timely execution and proper storage of agreements to prepare for audits.
• Act as a resource for TCN members regarding inquiries and processes related to contracts.
• Develop templates and guidance documents to streamline contracting activities for members.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure contracts align with regulatory and quality benchmarks.
• Manage HIPAA Business Associate Agreements and make updates as necessary.
• Work closely with payer engagement, credentialing, and finance teams to ensure contract terms align with operational requirements.
• Create and maintain operational and recordkeeping systems for efficient performance and auditing of TCN and member contracts and agreements.
• Prepare resources to support both members and internal use.
• Coordinate with other TCN employees to ensure effective contract management across departments, as required.
• Aim to enhance the quality of contract-related offerings for TCN members and clients.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives that will enhance core responsibilities.
• Provide standard and ad hoc reports in accessible formats to TCN leaders and members.
• Address all work-related issues promptly and exercise sound judgment in escalating significant concerns to leadership.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Associate’s degree or certificate in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in a dynamic setting, ideally with a focus on healthcare.
• Understanding of contract language, negotiation techniques, and contract management systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy regulations and healthcare compliance guidelines.
• Eager learner, innovative, and motivated to research and comprehend compliance, contracting, and credentialing.
• Previous experience in healthcare is preferred.
