Contractor Qualification Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Site Works Commodity Manager to create a list of contractors for qualification.

• Facilitate contractor outreach and support throughout the pre-qualification process.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of contractor submissions.

• Organize informational calls to provide education to contractors.

• Deliver detailed weekly reports to the Site Works Commodity Manager.

• Work with internal teams to pinpoint priorities and urgent qualifications.

• Lead the renewal of contractor qualifications.

• Coordinate with internal colleagues to ensure timely reviews.

• Implement enhancements to the current CQM/CW system for greater efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to GE sourcing policies and procedures.

• Conduct on-site audits of contractors as necessary.

• Assist with the contractor ERP onboarding process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a significant construction project environment.

• At least 3 years of experience in pre-construction and/or construction qualification.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time if needed.

• Must adhere to all applicable company travel and tax policies.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and Canada is essential.
