Contractor Onboarding Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee Budderfly's contractor referral pipeline by assessing potential contractors based on business, operational, legal, and compliance criteria.

• Take ownership of, supervise, and enhance the contractor onboarding process from recruitment to activation.

• Collaborate with the Program Manager of Contractor Training to coordinate onboarding and training initiatives for contractors.

• Act as the main contact for contractors, addressing onboarding challenges and liaising with internal departments.

• Facilitate the onboarding of contractors into necessary systems, platforms, and tools such as HubSpot, FastFields, InJobs, and Sitetracker.

• Evaluate onboarding metrics, pipeline activities, training efficiency, contractor feedback, and timelines; present program performance findings to leadership.

• Negotiate contractor pricing and contractual agreements within predefined business parameters.

• Create and implement onboarding practices, documentation, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in onboarding, business development, or pipeline management roles is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to manage multiple onboarding processes at the same time.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• A proactive self-starter with a sense of ownership, comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with little supervision.

• Interest in pursuing a climate-focused career.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with contract and/or pricing negotiations is preferred.
