• Accountable for driving business development, providing product training, and delivering technical support to both internal and external customers.
• Acting as sales support in open sales territories and among targeted key customers throughout the US.
• Organizing product training sessions with key customers.
• Offering demo support on special and strategic job sites.
• Focusing on sales development for targeted key products.
• Assisting with special projects as directed and needed.
• Coordinating equipment for designated training sessions.
• Preparing appropriate training materials for these sessions.
• Participating and coordinating within the area of expertise during Group training events.
• Representing HCD at trade shows upon request.
• Delivering internal product training as necessary.
• Performing equipment demonstrations at the request of field sales.
• Setting up and training customers on new products post-sale.
• Communicating competitive market changes to Product Management.
• Acting as a liaison between Product Management, Technical Services, and R&D regarding product field issues.
• Assisting or leading training initiatives for existing or new products.
• Troubleshooting Technical Service issues on-site.
• Prioritizing travel and scheduling to meet the business's requirements.
• Maintaining the CRM system.
• Managing expense reporting (vehicle, demo equipment, travel, etc.).
• Creating and distributing Field/Trip reports.
• Updating individual KPIs/Objectives on a quarterly and annual basis.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry is required.
• Strong product knowledge is necessary.
• Proficiency in CRM, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
• Excellent technical abilities are essential.
• In-depth knowledge of Customer Focused Sales (CFS) is required.
