This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Assist the Brand Partnerships design team by crafting brand-appropriate, collectible-focused design concepts for footwear, Jibbitz™, and associated product expressions.
• Convert insights regarding forward-thinking consumers, pop culture, influential figures, and global brands into captivating Crocs design narratives.
• Develop engaging concept visuals, illustrations, and mood boards that generate enthusiasm and align both internal teams and external partners.
• Design graphic placements, Jibbitz™ concepts, CAD, and/or 3D-supported visuals. Collaborate with packaging partners to provide initial creative guidance when necessary and ensure cohesive storytelling across product and packaging.
• Adopt a collectibles mindset in design work, considering systems such as drops, series, variants, and longtail desirability.
• Contribute to products that signify cultural relevance and scarcity, beyond just commercial viability.
• Work in partnership with Product, Development, Marketing, and Licensing teams to deliver feasible, on-brand concepts.
• Clearly and confidently present design concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners, effectively selling the vision rather than merely showcasing the work.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic, time-sensitive contract environment while maintaining creative clarity.
• Support design development encompassing concept, color, form, materials, and technical details.
• Stay updated on global trends in music, fashion, art, and youth culture, providing a sharp and informed perspective.
• Investigate new tools, workflows, and technologies, including 3D and emerging design capabilities.
• Introduce innovative, disruptive thinking while remaining adaptable, solutions-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Apparel Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of professional design experience, ideally including licensed products, collaborations, or collectibles.
• Demonstrated ability to create highly desirable products that feel exclusive, even at scale.
• Strong instinct for cultural resonance, viewed through a global lens encompassing music, fashion, art, and emerging trends.
• Capability to fluidly transition from 2D concepts to fully realized 3D product expressions.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Working knowledge of 3D and/or CAD tools.
• Solid understanding of materials, construction, and production considerations across a variety of product types.
• Experience designing across a spectrum of expressions, from graphic applications to sculptural, premium collectible forms.
• Ability to self-manage and take ownership from concept to execution with minimal supervision.
• Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas in a compelling and engaging manner.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to balance speed with taste, delivering high-quality work under pressure.
