This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the portfolio group for Infrastructure Performance on behalf of the Contracts department.
• Manage and oversee contracts from inception to completion, which includes drafting, redlining, and negotiating contracts in line with MGT’s contract policies and procedures.
• Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, present findings, and collaborate with outside counsel and consultants to assess compliance and risk.
• Drive the combination and integration workplans specific to the Infrastructure Performance Solutions portfolio group.
• Ensure that all contracts comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Supervise contractor and vendor pipelines.
• Prepare contract letters along with other legal communications and notices.
• Evaluate needs and formulate new policies for the Contracts Department.
• Enhance filing and data control processes to meet compliance standards.
• Monitor incoming email traffic to pinpoint requests from internal and external customers, triaging emails based on required actions, urgency, and potential escalation to senior leadership.
• Act as the primary contact for certificate of insurance requirements for both internal and external customers.
• Assist in the administration of the contract database and filing system, employing consistent standards for data entry and document storage, including the input, verification, and maintenance of accurate data.
• Support sales operations with the interpretation of contractual requirements in RFPs and bid responses, preparing responses to information requests for inclusion in RFP bid responses.
• Provide assistance with ad-hoc requests as they arise.
• A Juris Doctorate is mandatory.
• A minimum of three (3) years of legal experience in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in SaaS contracting.
• Understanding of accounting and finance principles.
• Strong skills in legal research, reading, and writing.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Competent in time management and task prioritization.
• Strong computer skills, with familiarity in systems such as Salesforce and Conga.
• Ability to utilize professional judgment to adapt procedures, processes, and techniques.
• Capability to initiate and lead projects to completion with minimal supervision.
