Contract Product & Design Sourcer

📋 Description

• Engage outstanding talent in Product Management and Design.

• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring leaders to identify hiring requirements and outline target profiles.

• Transform hiring needs into innovative and focused sourcing strategies.

• Develop high-quality talent pipelines for senior roles in Product and Design.

• Discover overlooked, high-potential candidates using inventive search techniques and non-traditional signals.

• Perform talent mapping, market research, portfolio and case-study evaluations, and investigate product launches, design communities, referrals, conference talks, and written works.

• Create personalized outreach that connects candidates’ experiences, product backgrounds, motivations, and potential impact to the opportunity.

• Leverage response rates, conversion metrics, market insights, and pipeline quality to enhance searches.

• Employ AI tools to expedite research, generate search ideas, personalize outreach, and boost efficiency while applying sound judgment.

• Actively seek diverse talent in Product and Design across various backgrounds, company sizes, industries, product types, and career paths.

• Design searches utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strategies, portfolios, product communities, design platforms, conference speaker lists, web research, and talent intelligence.

• Align candidate profiles with recruiters and hiring managers while sharing insights on the Product and Design talent market.

• Monitor sourcing activities, candidate engagement, pipeline advancement, and search effectiveness.

• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of candidate information and activities in Ashby or a comparable ATS.

• Assist the company in hiring exceptional candidates through speed, creativity, perseverance, and candidate discernment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in sourcing talent for Product and/or Design roles, especially at the senior level.

• Capability to create innovative sourcing strategies that extend beyond standard titles, companies, and keywords.

• Proficiency in utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean techniques, portfolios, product communities, design platforms, conference speaker lists, web research, talent intelligence, and unconventional sourcing channels.

• Ability to evaluate Product and Design talent, focusing on customer empathy, product judgment, design craftsmanship, systems thinking, business impact, execution, and leadership.

• Skill in crafting concise, personalized, and credible outreach to candidates.

• Ability to utilize response rates, conversion data, market feedback, and pipeline quality to refine sourcing strategies.

• Experience or willingness to leverage AI tools such as Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with Ashby or a similar applicant tracking system.

• Strong communication skills and collaboration capabilities with recruiters and hiring managers.

• Attributes of curiosity, resourcefulness, persistence, adaptability, and sound candidate judgment.

• Must be a resident of the United States (the application will inquire if the candidate currently resides in the US).
