Contract Operations Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Assess commercial, open-source, and on-premises AI model alternatives using a repeatable framework to analyze cost, capability, and security trade-offs (75% of role)

• Develop and sustain cost models that compare API-based pricing with flat subscription options for high-volume AI users

• Validate methods for managing AI cost exposure and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders

• Ensure the evaluation framework remains up-to-date as AI models and pricing evolve, including monitoring renewal timelines for AI vendor agreements

• Assist with smaller-scale vendor evaluation initiatives, starting with SMS and messaging vendors, focusing on compliance capabilities, aggregator relationships, and pricing structures (25% of role)

• Become a member of the Strat Ops team at Customer.io

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in evaluating software vendors, preferably including AI platforms or communications/messaging solutions

• Proficiency in constructing cost models and structured frameworks for vendor comparisons

• Capability to work autonomously with senior stakeholders across technical and operational teams

• Experience in a B2B SaaS setting is preferred

• Knowledge of SMS or messaging compliance is advantageous but not mandatory

• Successful completion of a background check and employment verifications as part of the pre-employment procedure
