Contract Medical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, annotate, and revise publication manuscript drafts at various stages, ensuring adherence to tight deadlines and maintaining the highest standards.

• Handle rapid turnaround projects in alignment with the direction provided by the Sci Comms Solutions Lead and Product Manager.

• Collaborate with authors to facilitate the submission of manuscripts.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data privacy protocols at all times.

• Provide feedback on draft quality as needed.

• Serve as an independent reviewer for quality studies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Targeted experience in medical writing for publication within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.

• Solid grasp of clinical research, biostatistics, and medical terminology.

• Extensive knowledge of GPP, ICMJE, CONSORT, and other recognized industry guidelines.

• Thorough understanding of the manuscript process from initial draft to final publication.

• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related discipline is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience as a medical writer.

• Ability to provide a writing sample that showcases relevant experience in writing for publications in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proven success in cross-functional collaboration.

• Demonstrated track record in project delivery along with strong organizational skills.

• Must reside within the United States.
