Contract Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete contract lifecycle, which includes drafting, redlining, negotiating, executing, amending, and renewing contracts.

• Create and negotiate agreements that are customer-facing, including:

• Master Services Agreements (MSAs)

• Product-specific exhibits and addenda

• Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

• Data Protection Addenda (DPAs)

• Amendments and renewals

• Ensure that contracts accurately represent:

• The correct products and services

• Approved fallback positions

• Appropriate legal entities

• Previously agreed commercial terms

• Develop, maintain, and continually enhance a contract negotiation playbook.

• Serve as the main contract liaison to:

• Sales during ongoing deals

• Account Managers during renewals and upselling activities

• Facilitate renewal preparedness, which includes:

• Contract interpretation for existing customers

• Collaborate with Operations and Data teams on relevant projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in contract management, paralegal work, legal operations, or commercial contracting.

• Experience in supporting SaaS or software-related contracts.

• Strong grasp of contract negotiation dynamics and risk tradeoffs.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple contracts concurrently.

• Ability to apply business judgment, going beyond mere legal analysis.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated sectors.

• Previous exposure to:

• Development of contract playbooks

• Clause libraries and fallback positions

• CLM or contract repository tools

• Comfort in acting as a client-facing negotiator when necessary.
