This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the regional contract management strategy in line with business goals.
• Actively identify and address contractual, commercial, and legal risks across the project portfolio.
• Offer expert guidance on intricate disputes, including multi-party claims, force majeure situations, and termination scenarios.
• Influence commercial positioning from the tender phase to project completion, ensuring the flow down of terms to suppliers, contractors, and partners.
• Oversee the identification, negotiation, and resolution of high-value claims, both offensive and defensive.
• Apply advanced methodologies for assessing delays, disruptions, and quantum to establish strong claim positions.
• Collaborate with Legal and project teams to manage formal dispute resolution processes (mediation, arbitration, litigation).
• Mentor and nurture the Regional Contract Management Team, promoting a culture of high performance.
• Set performance objectives, oversee staffing requirements, and ensure workload is effectively managed.
• Uphold strict adherence to standard work practices and quality assurance procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen) and document 'Lessons Learned' to enhance commercial excellence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Administration from an accredited university or college.
• At least 15 years of experience in large, complex infrastructure projects (Energy, Power Transmission, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Construction).
• Proven success in managing the entire lifecycle of complex claims and leading high-stakes negotiations.
• Extensive experience with international contract frameworks (FIDIC, NEC, EPC, or tailored contracts).
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in regional or functional roles, managing professional teams.
• Professional proficiency in English (French proficiency would be an advantage).
