This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as the primary client-facing point of accountability for all assigned projects, managing relationships from the program level down to individual workstream sponsors.
• Oversee engagement planning, mobilization, and delivery across data, AI, and digital transformation initiatives, applying suitable methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Maintain project controls such as RAID logs, change control, status reporting, and financial tracking; escalate early warnings to senior leadership as necessary.
• Support the financial health of engagements by forecasting revenue, monitoring margins, managing scope changes, and collaborating with account teams on renewals and extensions.
• Develop stakeholder management plans; clearly communicate program status, risks, and decisions to both client and internal stakeholders, escalating as appropriate.
• Manage and influence cross-functional teams, including internal delivery squads, third-party vendors, and client resources in a matrix management environment.
• Ensure a seamless sales-to-delivery transition by working closely with Solutions Architects and Account Managers to confirm scope, resource plans, and commercial frameworks before mobilization.
• Contribute to Colibri's delivery practice by identifying opportunities for improvement, sharing lessons learned, and assisting in the evolution of engagement management standards and tools.
• Support business development efforts, including contributing to proposals, Statements of Work, and client presentations as the delivery authority.
• Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in collaboration with finance while maintaining discipline around milestone achievement, purchase orders, and invoicing.
• Act as cultural ambassadors, both externally with clients and internally within our delivery teams. The demeanor of an Engagement Manager directly influences how our people feel and how our clients perceive Colibri.
• At least 5 years of experience in a client-facing professional services delivery role within an MSP or digital consultancy setting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent and complex programs within data and/or AI domains.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering AI or ML-enabled products and services to enterprise clients.
• Strong proficiency in Agile tools, including Jira, Azure DevOps, and GitHub/GitLab.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with experience engaging and influencing at the C-suite level.
• Strong commercial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and change control.
