Contract DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Support and enhance both containerized and non-containerized workloads.

• Operate and maintain Kubernetes (EKS) clusters as well as other infrastructure components.

• Develop and manage reusable Terraform modules and establish Infrastructure as Code standards.

• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure.

• Implement and improve observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerting) across various systems.

• Enhance the reliability, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness of cloud platforms.

• Collaborate with application and data teams to facilitate efficient delivery workflows.

• Apply security best practices (IAM, secrets management, RBAC, least privilege).

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, applications, and performance.

• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.

• Proficient in AWS services (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, ALB/NLB, S3, RDS, etc.).

• Experience managing Kubernetes in a production environment.

• Strong expertise in Terraform, including the creation and maintenance of reusable modules.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with implementing observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry).

• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and Docker fundamentals.
