This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the sales and commercial teams throughout the ITO phase of transactions by preparing, managing, and marking-up proposal and contract documents.
• Interpret and evaluate the T&Cs risk checklist, addressing questions related to commercial risk processes.
• Engage in customer negotiations and assist in reviewing and finalizing contract and purchase order documentation.
• Offer guidance and recommendations to the deal team members and regional leadership on the contractual and commercial implications of proposed and finalized commercial T&Cs strategies and decisions.
• Organize, manage, and maintain a library of master and framework agreement records in NEX, along with a repository of pertinent documents (including amendments, risk checklists, and summaries) in Box’s cloud content management and file sharing service.
• Distribute relevant contract documents and templates within the organization as required.
• Collaborate closely with regional Legal team members to aid in developing deal strategies, negotiating T&Cs with customers, creating legal document templates, and implementing T&Cs training.
• Proactively identify and engage in process improvement and simplification initiatives relating to both the Contract Manager role and the overall ITO and risk management processes.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract analysis, Sales/Commercial Operations terms and conditions, and/or contract execution.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Thorough understanding of complex commercial contracts.
• Proven track record in successfully closing large and intricate contracts.
• Capability to develop persuasive and effective arguments that advance GE’s interests and needs during customer-facing negotiations.
