This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Negotiate and oversee SNG’s contracting initiatives with both end clients and third-party entities.
• Act as a subject matter expert throughout the entire proposal process, from pre-award to post-award support, problem resolution, and contract management.
• Collaborate with program managers to identify and manage contract terms from the proposal phase to project completion.
• Support teams in negotiations, contract oversight, and subcontracting activities.
• Review requests for proposals (RFPs/RFIs) to ensure compliance with proposal requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with relevant contractual procedures and industry best practices.
• Aid SNG corporate compliance in the management of SAM.gov and 8(a) compliance for SNG entities.
• Upload and maintain contractual documents in the Seneca contract repositories and databases.
• Monitor government laws and regulations to promptly inform management of potential business impacts.
• Conduct all business activities in alignment with Seneca policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
• A degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Experience with government contracting, including contract and subcontract management for government contractors.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to cultivate collegial relationships with colleagues and client representatives.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its associated Supplements.
• Ability to develop a subcontracting plan in compliance with government requirements.
• Strong understanding of various contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M, LOE, CR, etc.).
• Experience with Costpoint and Microsoft SharePoint is preferred.
