This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Review, prepare, and oversee preconstruction contracts along with associated documentation.
• Ensure all contracts are in accordance with project scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
• Aid in the preparation and assessment of bid proposals, tender documentation, and RFIs (Request for Information).
• Facilitate the procurement process by coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Verify that all contracts adhere to legal, regulatory, and company standards.
• Identify potential risks and collaborate with project teams to develop mitigation strategies.
• Organize and maintain preconstruction documentation, including contracts, amendments, and correspondence, ensuring both accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate closely with the preconstruction team, project managers, estimators, and legal teams to ensure smooth progression from preconstruction to construction phases.
• Assist in evaluating project budgets to ensure contract terms align with financial objectives.
• Support cost estimation efforts to ensure projects stay within defined scope.
• Act as a primary contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the preconstruction phase, ensuring transparent and consistent communication.
• Aid in negotiating terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all necessary compliance documentation is secured.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 3 years of experience in contracts administration, ideally within the construction sector.
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and bidding procedures.
• Proficient in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail along with excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
