Continuous Quality and Process Improvement Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Plan, model, and implement functional and integration tests across Web, Mobile, API, and batch systems.

• Define and execute functional testing strategies to ensure comprehensive requirements coverage.

• Develop and maintain test scenarios and test cases in line with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, BDD, and TDD.

• Document and outline service transactions, application workflows, and essential routines.

• Create and manage test data sets for functional testing purposes.

• Assist in user acceptance testing activities in collaboration with users and business units.

• Analyze and log defects, establishing a repository for known errors.

• Generate specialized reports for test execution and monitoring processes.

• Work within banking automation labs to validate interfaces, self-service channels, and critical applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in the field is essential.

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is mandatory.

• Candidates must reside in São Paulo (SP) or Brasília (DF) as this is a remote work model.

• Familiarity with COBOL is required.

• Experience in planning and structuring test maturity for both high- and low-level platforms.

• Knowledge of functional testing for Web, APIs, Mobile, and Batch systems.

• Application of agile methodologies in QA, specifically Scrum and Kanban.

• Creation and maintenance of non-production test environments.

• Understanding of various test types and levels, including unit, integration, system, regression, and acceptance testing.

• Experience with banking automation platforms in both Linux and Windows environments.

• Proficiency in BDD and TDD methodologies.

• Capable of test execution reporting and monitoring.

• Virtualization of services/interfaces to simulate integrations.

• Execution of Batch processing and Mainframe routines.

• Desired qualifications include:

• Test certifications such as CTFL and CTFL-AT (preferred).

• Experience in banking automation is a plus.
