This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Evaluate source materials including course videos, transcripts, speaker presentations, and code repositories.

• Assist in establishing the structure, flow, and learning pathways based on the source course.

• Utilize Packt’s AI tools to transform courses into coherent written manuscripts, ensuring content quality, flow, and coherence while maintaining valuable expert insights, practical examples, and teaching objectives.

• Confirm that chapters include suitable introductions, transitions, summaries, captions, instructions, examples, and guidance for readers.

• Assess AI-generated on-demand video courses for editorial quality, flow, and completeness, reviewing AI-identified segments and approving the final output for release.

• Evaluate and endorse ingested expert content to ensure it is transformed into clear, attributable, and retrievable insights that enhance the quality of AI-generated responses in our corpus product.

• Review and enhance grammar, clarity, readability, consistency, and flow.

• Ensure the output resembles a book rather than a transcript.

• Verify that explanations follow a logical order and support the intended learning objectives.

• Identify sections where the source material is overly reliant on visual demonstrations or assumed context, and highlight areas needing additional explanation.

• Critically assess AI-generated content and rectify errors, hallucinations, omissions, unsupported assertions, and tone inconsistencies.

• Offer feedback on AI tools and documentation that can enhance processes and output. Document source-related issues or process bottlenecks to facilitate improvements in the broader workflow.

• Proactively escalate missing assets, ambiguous source material, technical uncertainties, quality concerns, schedule risks, or recurring workflow challenges.

• Effective communication skills with the capacity to provide clear feedback to all stakeholders, both internal and external.

• Proficient in testing code and identifying issues.

• Ability to organize information into logical structures and reader-friendly explanations.

• Confidence in managing long documents, transcripts, or source files while ensuring consistency throughout.

• Eagerness to learn new technical concepts.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to workflow, style, and quality checklists.

• Capability to meet deadlines, communicate obstacles promptly, and respond to feedback effectively.
