This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy designed to enhance awareness and foster trust among the client's audience, including restaurants, stadiums, and venues.
• Discover new content topics through various methods such as customer interviews, competitive analysis, and insights from an internal council of product marketers, sales leaders, and executives, employing a journalist's intuition for compelling stories.
• Plan and create content, including video podcasts, live event webinars, and interactive web pieces in collaboration with internal partners and vendors.
• Establish and oversee a detailed editorial calendar that aligns with our distribution teams, utilizing our organic social channels, paid campaigns, and email marketing initiatives.
• Manage our bi-weekly newsletters, curating all video content, blogs, interactive materials, and customer stories to ensure these valuable resources reach their intended audience.
• Conduct interviews with internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs), integrating customer perspectives and proprietary data into our content to differentiate it from competitors.
• Utilize our webinar platform and content management system (CMS) to ensure a seamless experience for attendees throughout the registration, live event, and post-event processes.
• Define and establish content models and schemas to standardize content structures, enabling reuse and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to activate and implement product launch campaigns and landing pages targeting restaurants.
• Map all content to the buyer's journey and align content strategies with business objectives.
• Explore how to leverage AI tools to enhance the speed of our content creation and develop engaging new content formats for our audiences.
• Measure, analyze, and report on content performance to guide future content trends; as feedback from our audiences is gathered, you will assist the team in refining our topics and messaging.
• Create all content with a focus on updates, optimization, and repackaging, reinforcing our belief that content should not be treated as 'set-it-and-forget-it.'
• Stay informed on the latest content trends to maintain a competitive edge and innovate beyond it.
• Over 5 years of experience in content marketing, preferably within a technology company (experience in e-commerce or point-of-sale is a bonus).
• Proven expertise as a strategic thinker and rapport builder, driving cross-functional engagement and enthusiasm for our content strategy program.
• Experience with a diverse range of content types (video, webinars, written, interactive, etc.) and/or channels (social media, email, campaigns, etc.).
• Exceptional research, communication, and editing skills, coupled with a strong instinct for storytelling.
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to blend AI-driven insights with human creativity and intuition.
• A 'campaign mindset' for all content produced.
• Proficient in LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and YouTube platforms (and perhaps consider yourself curious about TikTok).
• Experience collaborating directly with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
• Ability to simplify complex information into easily digestible and marketable content.
• Understanding of revenue marketing fundamentals, including lead scoring, content-influenced pipeline, and funnel stages.
• Highly organized in managing editorial calendars and deliverables, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing information.
• A passion for experimentation, a desire to grow together as a high-performing team, and the ambition to make a unique impact on something new.
