This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take initiative to create and refine payment integrity rules by converting medical policies and coding standards into adaptable rule logic.
• Perform intricate claims and data analyses to uncover policy opportunities and improve rule accuracy.
• Work in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to facilitate the rollout of new rules and policy improvements.
• Guide junior analysts and offer peer review assistance for rule development and analysis.
• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or a related discipline (e.g., Molecular Genetics).
• Board certification is preferred (ABGC or equivalent).
• 6-8+ years of experience in genetic counseling, molecular diagnostics, and/or laboratory utilization management.
• Extensive knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding for laboratory and genetic testing.
• Proficient in translating clinical nuances into organized, scalable rule logic.
