Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Consistently write, edit, and publish blog posts focused on SEO.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and the wider marketing team to support the creation of long-form content, including eBooks and guides.

• Draft and assist in placing contributed articles and bylines in industry publications.

• Develop, manage, and schedule posts across social media platforms, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.

• Provide support with graphic design tasks using tools like Canva.

• Transform long-form content into various formats such as social posts, email copy, summaries, and slides.

• Edit drafts from freelancers and subject matter experts to ensure alignment with the brand's voice.

• Monitor content and social media performance, report on outcomes, and suggest impactful changes.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of full-time experience in content marketing, communications, journalism, or a related discipline.

• Experience in tech and/or cybersecurity is highly preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in U.S. English.

• Familiarity with using LinkedIn and X as professional networking channels.

• Basic design skills; proficiency in Canva is acceptable.

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator is an advantage.

• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini is desired.

• A working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, meta descriptions, and internal linking, or the ability to learn swiftly.

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and willing to acquire new skills.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple content pieces through various stages.

• Comfort with receiving feedback and implementing it promptly.

• Experience writing for a technology or cybersecurity audience is a bonus.

• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to make technical content accessible is an advantage.

• Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar marketing platform is a plus.

• Light video editing experience is an additional asset.
